A process is underway in Ostrołęka that allows residents to have a real impact on the shape of the new facility for the youngest. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 88/2026 of the Mayor of the City, public consultations related to the emerging Municipal Kindergarten No. 16 "Land of Explorers" have begun.
This time, it is not only about general assumptions or directions of action, but about very specific elements of the daily functioning of the kindergarten. Residents can co-decide what names the kindergarten groups will have, how the classrooms will be named and designed, as well as what the playground will look like and what it will be equipped with.
It is these details that build the atmosphere of a place and have a huge impact on how children will feel in it. Group names can inspire, stimulate imagination and encourage exploration of the world, and properly designed rooms and spaces are conducive to learning through play. A well-thought-out playground, on the other hand, can combine a recreational and educational function, supporting the physical and social development of the youngest.
